So I was reading the Wikipedia page for life is strange and it said that the supernatural elements were designed as a metaphor for Max's inner conflict. My question is, what is Max's inner conflict?

It's like learning that it rains when Laura is sad, and then asking why is Laura sad (Men in Black II).

 

You say you have played the game, you know the story and the choices. If you don't understand the significance (the conflict) of any of them, I'd recommend therapy.
