Olympus OMD EM1 vs OMD EM5 II

DocYoda

I am torn between OMD EM5 mark II and the OMD EM1 non mark II. Anybody can share their take on this. I know the OMD EM1 is a bit older than the EM5 mark II but I see similar specs. By the way I dont intend to use the camera for its video capture features. What I like about the OMD EM1 is that it has a kit lens of 12-40mm f2.8. Thanks

Buy which ever camera you prefer, the photos produced by the camera depends on your skills as a photographer and not the camera.  The camera is just a tool.

Its a pretty difficult choice to make, both are very solid cameras and have identical sensors, personally I'd go for the EM1 due to it heftier grip and slightly longer battery life, as you mention, it also comes with a much nicer kit lens.

The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it. :P
