Basically Christmas is coming up and my mum told me I can get a new graphics card if it fits the £300 budget or I contribute to the price.

So its either another 7950 in crossfire, this would save me money but could cause problems with crossfire and might require me to get a new PSU.

Or its a 7990 which is slightly more expensive but I get a 750w XFX PSU and possibly a performance increase over the crossfire 7950 and would look better.

sell your current card, get GTX 780 or R9 290x which ever you prefer, just avoid amd at the moment as they are having issues with frame pacing, plus if you get a higher end single card, you can play a game properly when it releases, not having to wait for SLi/Crossfire drivers for the card, and you also can upgrade to two of those high end cards which would just be a much better experience

My Pc: Cpu: I7 4790k @ 4,8 Ghz @1,25 volts, Motherboard: Maximus VII Formula, Graphicscard: 2x Titan X @1,4 at stock voltage (soon to be replaced), Ram: 32 gb Corsair Dominator Platinum 2133 Cl 9, SSD: 2x 850 Pro 1 Tb in Raid 0, 2x Samsung 840 Evo 1 tb raid 1,, PSU: Corsair HXi Series 1000W 80+ Platinum, Case: H440. Soon to be watercooled again, maybe, probably, the Titans are too loud.

crossfire 7990 with 7950 :D profit!  3x SLI and Crossfire are as smooth as 1x card so don't listen to frame time issues

As in wait for the new coolers on the R9 290x? Because that thing is hella loud and my build is based around being quiet.
