Scrapyard wars PLS

The last scrapyard wars are a while back now and i think it s more than fair to say that most of us really enjoy that series.

Personally I think the logical step now would be to extend SYW to a threeway now. I was thinking Linus+Luke vs. Jay+Nick vs. Bitwit (Kyle)+Paul, although we obviously don t know if this is at all possible.

As a theme I d really like to see something new like extreme overclocking (hood nitrogen cooling or something like that) and maybe a slightly higher budget.

What are your ideas? Do you even want another SYW?

Yeah, it'd be awesome to do another collab with other youtubers! Especially since Jay, Paul, and Kyle live nearby, so Linus could just fly down to the SoCal (happens to be where I am too :D, and no, this isn't a secret plan for me to meet them) and do a Scrapyard Wars.

Make sure to quote me or tag me when responding to me, or I might not know you replied! Examples:

Interested in computer architecture? Still in middle or high school? P.M. me!

I love computer hardware and feel free to ask me anything about that (or phones). I especially like SSDs. But please do not ask me anything about Networking, programming, command line stuff, or any relatively hard software stuff. I know next to nothing about that.

I really want another one. I have one idea directly on the top of my head. What if it was regular syw, but they need to make a profit by selling the build once done.

This is brilliant! I would love to see what shenanigans they get into.

We already have potential concepts laid out for SYW5. I can say with certainty that it's not going to involve three competitors/teams, that really doesn't seem to work out well in a competition format like SYW. Tough to drive the rivalry in post-production when there are so many moving parts and only 30-45 mins per ep to tell the story.

what about Nikky V+Denis Vs Taran and Colton?

I would imagine that it would turn into a CSF episode in about 20 minutes without Linus or Luke overlooking their builds. :D

Actually that might be cool. Have Linus and Luke be the team captains and then have them coach Nicky V + Dennis vs Taran and Colton. The caveat is that they can only help in picking the parts. They can't physically help them build the PC or troubleshoot it for them. LOL

SYW might be my favorite series on LTT. It's awesome watching them build these crazy cheap systems and see what they can pull out of the used market. I pretty regularly re-watch the 4 seasons of SYW they have up now.

As far as ideas go I don't thing that I really have much of a preference but I would be down for whatever they come up with next.

Fingers crossed for more SYW!

I really want a new scrapyard wars, but I'd like them to go back to the roots. Just simple, go for the best performance for the lowest price possible. I just enjoy that so much more than all the ghetto stuff tbh, maybe it's because it's more realistic.

i7 2600k @ 5GHz 1.49v - EVGA GTX 1070 ACX 3.0 - 16GB DDR3 2000MHz Corsair Vengence

Asus p8z77-v lk - 480GB Samsung 870 EVO w/ W10 LTSC - 2x1TB HDD storage - 240GB SATA SSD w/ W7 - EVGA 650w 80+G G2

3x 1080p 60hz Viewsonic LCDs, 1 glorious Dell CRT running at anywhere from 60hz to 120hz

Model M w/ Soarer's adapter - Logitch g502 - Audio-Techinca M20X - Cambridge SoundWorks speakers w/ woofer
