How to disable sata express to use M.2 drive?

Phantom329

Hi LTT,

I recently got a M.2 drive that I will be using as a boot drive. I have a Z170 board and it prompted me to disable sata express because it shares PCIe lanes with the M.2 port. I can't find the option anywhere in BIOS to disable it and haven't been able to find anything online. Here is a link to my build on PCPartPicker. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Look at your manual carefully, it's not in the same place as the SATA ports.
