New Phone or Repair?

Im about 1 year and 3 months into my S6's contract. Since Me being a very heavy power user my S6's battery and AMOLED is beat up. Since my S6 can last me up to November (When the contract ends) Should I repair my S6 back to health or just wait till the S7 becomes cheaper (Since the S8 by then should be out). Since I am willing to spend up to 300$ USD

Repair now and upgrade to s8 later this year.  You will still be able to sell your s6 for a few hundred bucks at that time.

I would not spend more than $100 to repair a phone. But thats just me.

True but since I use headphones alot and with the potential removal of the headphone jack I would like to remain to something Samsung that will still have a headphone jack while remaining high end enough.

Well we don't know for sure about the future of headphone jacks.  Besides, wireless headphones will be very convenient.  Yes, it's one more thing to purchase, but hey, we're tech enthusiasts!

Pretty common these days, what with governments skimming higher and higher taxes, squeezing industry with over-regulation, incredible welfare costs, etc.

 

Sorry for the political rant!  Save your pennies until such time as you can afford another upgrade.  the s7 will be replaced soon enough, no point buying one now IMO.
