What's the oldest computer you have? In our school we still use this old old pc with a floppy drive. Still runs windows XP.  But yet we have macs in all other classes..

Used to have a old gateway windows 98 apparently it cost $1500 100mb ram 50+Gb HDD

Ahh the olld north and south bridge days! LOL probably 1999 was when my Dad got it i think.

Right now i have a windows xp with a pentium d processor 4gb RAM(upgraded cause i thought Minecraft would run better if i did) has 120gb SATA hdd also has a Firewire adapter and the absolute worst GPU ever it doesn't even have a single heat-sink on it.

also at my schools all of our computers are at least i5's with some being xeons and they all have windows 7pro for engineering rooms upgrade every couple of years also the school's also have a legit server system to support all 31 schools also at my senior high next years freshmen class (about 400-500 kids) Will get Dell chrome books to take home.  Are school also has about 10+ carts of 30 chrome books that go around to different rooms i dont know where this money comes from but it is insane if you actually think about it. ohh and every single classroom through out the district has smart boards and all teachers have laptops. plus the fact that currently all people in ALARP an fancy LA class got chrome books this year. Sadly yet these chrome books will be strictly controlled at school and home and fun blacklists at school (you cant install VPN's on these chromebooks) also these chromebooks are managed by our school so they use a plugin which cannot be disabled to stop vpn's and also block things like youtube(turns to cleanTube 3000) even when signed into your school google account on personal computers you cannot use services like YouTube with out signing out and deleting it from your accounts otherwise it tells you that you must have a special account.

The thing is Called IBOSS security

The fun thing is this especially affected me when i was writing a research paper and one of my textual evidence quote's website got blocked days after when i need to cite it for my paper

I do have an Amiga 500 in my attic somewhere.

Back then 128MB was overkill, kinda like 64GB of RAM is today!!

Oldest PC I have or school had was a core 2 duo like 1.8 GHz, 512 mb ram and no GPU running vista, needless to say teachers would legit cuss out the smart board for the pc not responding
