what is motion blur

I know it may seem self explanitory but what is it? i got a benq xl2411and i was turning on anti blur on and off and see no difference other than the screens color dimming.

Theyre two different things. Motion blur is used in games to enhance the visual representation of movement.

 

Anti-blur is monitor tech to reduce blur on text

Object's outer edges looks smudge due to moving very fast.

For the other one, windows already has that option turned on by default.

i meant blur reduction. 

what is the difference between lg 24gm77Dynamic Action Sync Mode Clear Motion 240 and blurr reduction. and is it even worth it?
