TP-Link AC1300 Card Not Detected

So I just bought a new Wifi card because the Powerline adapter I have is being a pain. I also bought a brand new 1070. Plugged in both cards and the 1070 works like a charm and the Wifi card's light on the back is green and on. However, the thing won't show up. I've googled for help on this and people say to look for the Other Devices tab on Device Manager. However, it's not there at all. Not even under Hidden Devices. No Yellow ! mark anywhere. The driver disc can't find it and neither can the board. I have the AsRock Z97 Anniversary which can bring up a map of the board and tell you what is plugged in and where. Nothing in the slots my card is plugged into, which if the green light is on then is definitely seated correctly, besides the graphics card shows up. Card works, but it can't be found. What do I do? And yes, the BIOS and EVERYTHING is updated to the correct drivers.

Tried every single port possible. The card lights up perfectly fine. If it's lighting up, it has power. So the port definitely isn't dead.

I have one of these cards. Did you install the drivers before you installed the physical card?

Unfortunately, you cannot install drivers before the card is installed. It searches for compatible hardware ahead of time. I cannot switch Wifi on if it's not being detected when plugged in.

Figured it out. So apparently, I had to disable the LAN adapter in order for it to show up. #networking

Funny enough I had a similar issue with my moms desktop once upon a time. Even funnier it was a TP Link card. 

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.
