Samsung 850 EVO 1TB, 385GB Free??

Hey everyone,

Im installing a fresh copy of Windows on my new SSD. It shows that its a 1,000GB drive but it says it has 385 free on my Windows install page, whatd I do wrong?? Theres only 100MB in the other partition.

Delete all the partitions until only "unallocated space" is left (which you can't delete) then select that and click next.

@Electronics Wizardy Samsung magician refused to clone my old drive last night :( i can live with a fresh install though 

try macrum reflect.

if you clone it, you have to expand the partition

I already did my fresh install. It kind of worked out better.  I had a couple hundred gigs of programs and files that i just dont use or dont need anymore.  It was quicker to reinstall the stuff i use and resetup my OBS and everything than it would have been to go through and delete all of the crap off the other drive.  Even on SATA2 my speeds are great, 538MB read, 518MB write.
