Hey guys! After some talking to Samsung support about the problem with my S7 Edge, they said I had to backup and reset my phone to factory settings. (It doesn't get recognized by my PC and other PCs as well, tried 3 different cables and also another phone).

But before I'm going to reset my phone, I want to backup my files. What is a good program for Android?

Main gaming pc: Lian-Li Lancool II Mesh Performance - Ryzen 5 5600X - MSI GTX1080Ti Armor - AMD Wraith Spire RGB - ASUS TUF Gaming B550 Plus - Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO 2x8GB 3200MHz - 500GB M.2 (and a few other drives)

Gaming laptop: ASUS GL552VW: i7 6700HQ - GTX960M 2GB - 8GB DDR4 2166Mhz RAM - 1TB 7200RPM HDD

titanium backup is the single best backup program for any android device. it will even backup your current ROM image if you have root level access!

i'm sure there is a feature within most custom recovery programs like philz touch, that let's you make bare metal copies of ur phone and dump the image on your SD card. but as others pointed out i think you need root access for this, only did this once on my rooted S4 mini about 3 years ago.

Home PC:

CPU: i7 4790s ~ Motherboard: Asus B85M-E ~ RAM: 32GB Ballistix Sport DDR3 1666 ~ GPU: Sapphire R9 390 Nitro ~ Case: Corsair Carbide Spec-03 ~ Storage: Kingston Predator 240GB   PCIE M.2 Boot, 2TB HDD, 3x 480GB SATA SSD's in RAID 0 ~ PSU:    Corsair CX600
Display(s): Asus PB287Q , Generic Samsung 1080p 22" ~ Cooling: Arctic T3 Air Cooler, All case fans replaced with Noctua NF-B9 Redux's ~ Keyboard: Logitech G810 Orion ~ Mouse: Cheap Microsoft Wired (i like it) ~ Sound: Radial Pro USB DAC into 250w Powered Speakers ~ Operating System: Windows 10 Enterprise x64

Work PC:

CPU: Intel Xeon E3 1275 v3 ~ Motherboard: Asrock E3C226D2I ~ RAM: 16GB DDR3 ~ GPU: GTX 460 ~ Case: Silverstone SG05 ~ Storage: 512GB SATA SSD ~ Displays: 3x1080p 24" mix and matched Dell monitors plus a 10" 1080p lilliput monitor above ~ Operating System: Windows 10 Enterprise x64

I can't root my phone because of some glitch in software. I need to reset my phone first, but I want to backup pics and vids first.

Are you trying to root with ODIN and custom recoveries ? or are you trying to do it all from the phone ?

I'm not trying to root my phone, I'm trying to backup my phone.

I can't access my phone via my pc, or any other pc in my house. So I can't even root.

You can use Google Drive or MS One Drive to store pictures, Most of everything else should be backed up to your Google Account. The only thing not included is 3rd party APP data. You have an SD card slot, Do you have an SD card? Another good way to get files.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.

That's right, there're many methods to backup your android device data to computer, but if you want to backup everything from your phone to computer, an Android conatcts backup app could help.

it can be used to backup data to other phone  ? (Not the computer )
