Hello,

I am building a PC and I just would like to know if this is good for rendering videos in After Effects and can run Grand Theft Auto at Very High Settings at 60fps or more.

And Also would swapping 16gb of ram for 8gb of ram make much of a difference?

Thanks!

that GPU might do medium settings in GTA V, but its not touching verry high 60fps. the GPU is way to weak for high settings 1080p gameing. i would swap it for atleast a RX 470 or 480 seeing as they are better cards. i would change the RAM to something cheaper and get an SSD of atleast 120GB aswell

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

The CPU cooler is pretty expensive for what it is. The 212 EVO or a Cryorig H7 are much better values.

Also that PSU is very is a "Tier 6" PSU based on this PSU tier list. I'd look into something similarly priced like the the EVGA 600B. Everything else has been stated.

With this setup, you can add another 8gb stick later bringing your total to 16gb's.  The 1060 6gb is great for 1080p or 1440p game play. SSD for boot times, HDD for storage, corsair case similar to the original one you posted, and a motherboard that matches the CPU.

I7-7700k@5.1ghz + 1080ti @ 2050mhz + 32gbs Ram + 2TB SSD = CSGO

i7-6700k@4.9ghz + 980ti @ 1501mhz + 16gbs Ram + 1 TB SSD = Backup

i7-3770k@4.8ghz + 680 4gb + 32gbs Ram + 500gb SSD = Retired/Office work

Don't buy a K series CPU with a H motherboard, because that motherboard doesn't support overclocking.

Also, that GPU is pretty bad

CPU: Ryzen 2 2700@ 4.0Ghz    Mobo: Gigabyte X470 Gaming 7 Wifi    Cooler: EVGA CLC 240    GPU: GTX1080 FTW DT @ 2113Mhz   PSU: EVGA 750W P2

Case: Fractal Design Meshify C   Displays: 34" LG34UC79G, 24" Dell

Try and go for something else for GPU, would highly recommend a 1060 for that cpu even better if you could get a 1070
