Doubt between two mechanical keyboards

Hi, everyone...

My old keyboard is starting to give me issue, so I've decided to upgrade to a new one, but I have some doubts.

I'm in doubt between the Corsair k70 (non-rgb) and the Cougar 700k, which would go nice with my mouse.

Where I live they cost about the same, with difference being that the k70 only has red switches and 700k has brown.

I've read everywhere about how k70 corsair is nice, although a lot of the praise have been given to the RGB, I don't really care about it.

I just can't find a lot of opinions from owners of the 700k, only reviews, and I tend to not trust 100% on them, since they test those keyboards for short periods.

I've read just some reports of macros activating by themselves, keys turning off while pressed, keys getting stuck...

Wonder if someone here owns the 700K and can give some feedback on the quality of the keyboard and if I should buy it or the Corsair.

Thanks in advance!

As much as I'd hate to say it, go with Corsair. It's a good KB and the switches are... well, reds. The software kind of sucks but it is customizable and easy enough to navigate.

You think cougar would be a bad choice?

I don't own a 700K, but I do own Cougar periferals, and they're very solid.

The 700K is also more feature rich than the K70.

But, I would say it's up to your switch choice, if you like linear switches (for some reason) go for the K70, or if you like tactile switches go for the 700K.

I haven't used it, so I'll refrain from giving an opinion. Sorry. I have used the K70, but ditched it when I found the G710, which got upgraded to the G910 Spectrum.

Logitech keyboards here are crazy expensive... only reason I won't buy them =P

CM masterkeys pro are actually a little more expensive, maybe because of the RGB.

Can you give me the websites you use? I could try to look for some.

Just don't buy the k70 rapid fire. You'll want to kill it with fire if you do. Worst keyboard I have ever bought and that's saying a lot. I've had over 50 keyboards in my time.

I7-7700k@5.1ghz + 1080ti @ 2050mhz + 32gbs Ram + 2TB SSD = CSGO

i7-6700k@4.9ghz + 980ti @ 1501mhz + 16gbs Ram + 1 TB SSD = Backup

i7-3770k@4.8ghz + 680 4gb + 32gbs Ram + 500gb SSD = Retired/Office work

Yeah, even Red switches make me a little worried...
