Black flag is probably the most different assassin's creed, but it is also the best one that strays from the usual formula, and it works. 

 

that said, Unity is IMO the prettiest AC game in the series, in spite of it being broken at launch, and it still is.

Black flag, its my 3rd favourite assassin creed game after assassin creed 1 and assassin creed brotherhood. assassin creed syndicate is boring and repetitive in my opinion.

I preferred Syndicate for the story. Black Flag was fun, but the ship battles felt like padding after the first three battles.

In all seriousness, I only bought an Alienware because of the build quality.  My main gaming rig creams my Alienware in terms of performance(6850K, 1080 8GB, 64GB of RAM)

Black Flag is one of my all-time favourite games. The locations are gorgeous, and varied, and the characters are great, and there's good writing. Syndicate feels lacking in all of those areas, IMO.

Black Flag is better than Rogue, and both of them are better than AC3. AC3 is better than Unity and Syndicate.
