Good Day to all,

 

i was just wondering if i could run a 3-way GTX 770 SLI with a Seasonic M12II 850watts 80Plus Bronze PSU? or should i go for a higher PSU.. i've calculated may total usage and i was around 810W i dont know if its correct or not..

3 Way sli is not worth it, its absolutely crap

If you have $400 to spend, go buy a bigger SSD, or a phone, maybe some True Religion pants? Really anything but another 770, 3 Way SLI is not worth it unless you have loads of money to spend.

I'd go for at least a 900W 80+ gold PSU for 3 way SLI.

It'll be cutting it close with 850

 

EDIT: But to be honest I can't really recommend 3 way SLI. I'd sell and get 2 780s, or 780ti's when they come out.

Mind you, if you're doing it for fun, and don't care too much about wasting money and performance, go for it :)

why dont you get a 4770k? a bigger SSD? I dunno something useful?

watercool your pc instead of purchasing another gpu. it wont cost that much more, and it will also increase performance

it will cost like 2* 100 for gpu blocks, + 80 for cpu blocks+ 20 for tubing and the rest for rads and a pump.
