how do i open .exe files on linux

i have the game terratech in a .exe file. normally wine works to open .exe files on linux but this time it didnt work. i need a way to open it on linuxmint and be able to play terratech. Thanks!

Why not dual boot with Windows?

You need WINE or some other Windows compatibility layer to run the program on Linux.

Probably the lack of DX11 or similar, check to make sure WINE has that component, but otherwise gaming on Linux is pretty shit, I went back to windows for my gaming machine.

open or run?

to open you can use any zip extract program and view the files with some exe

no the demo. i dont know if they still offer it but a while ago i downloaded the demo and it still works

doesn't look like they still offer the demo. buy the game on steam or use wine are your only options
