Won't make any difference performance wise, you can leave it on.

It helps with some very old keyboards and mice and some other obscure devices. If you only have new hardware, you could turn that off. But like I said, won't make any difference when it comes to pc performance.

The only performance you'll be getting is reducing POST times, and even then it may not be much if at all. But the biggest ones are disabling ports that have nothing in them so the computer doesn't try to figure out if something's on there or not.

Be very careful. Incorrect BIOS settings can make your computer unusable or unstable. Worst case scenario, if you screw up enough settings, you might need to pull the CMOS battery, or if your motherboard has one, use the BIOS reset/clear switch/jumper.

I would read up on every single setting you look at/intend on disabling, just to see what it is, what it does, and what impact disabling it might have.
