Display refunded, looking for a replacement

regarding this topic:

Well apparently they thought there was nothing wrong with the display. Fortunately under Dutch law they're obligated to refund items purchased online for 14 days, so I got my money back.

However, I'm not really inclined to purchase a similar screen since it appeared to me this was a clear fabrication fuck-up with the bezel.

Which also means ASUS is off the table. I'm back to looking for replacements. A few contestants are the AOC Agon AG271QX and the Dell S2716DG. With the latter having the benefit of having g-sync. I'm still running a 980.

Any other idea's? Budget can be inferred from the suggestions.

I'm really gonna strongly suggest gsync. I game at 1080p 144Hz with a 1080 and even with my 1080 and cannot hit 144Hz at all times. I assume that's especially true at 1440p and a 980. Gsync will let you run higher settings and not worry about tearing or even noticing as your framerate bounces from say 110-144Hz or something.

Seems to have the same poor uniformity and edging issues.

Well my MG278Q is working fantastically on my 1060 and calibrating it made the colours excellent. It's a great monitor but obviously I'm a bit biased

i didn't encounter the same issues with Asus TN as IPS while researching for my monitor

That's an F in the profile pic
