Does it say whether or not you are able to say you're under the NDA?

My experience, with game betas, is you can't. But obviously they aren't all written the same, and I don't want you to get your pants sued ;)

According to Hitech Legion, the nda of this card will be lifted by tmr (ie they could release videos about the 780ti tmr morning), and they said the hottest temp they got from 780ti is around 82 degrees

Yea, I have to wonder about this, it looks pretty good but has some points that made me sad for competition purposes.

3GB VRAM?

2 dBa per card less at load (basically the same at idle) compared to the 290x? People have complained, I would think that NVIDIA would prefer to capitalize on this. Same with power, doesn't appear to be a great divide (maybe I'm wrong on this).

Performance is vs. 290x in "Quiet" mode... I know it's NVIDIA selective benchmark releases - so can't wait for better comparisons where cards are used the same top end or overclocked.

It's a Titan killer, and for $150 more than the 780/r9 290X the numbers as shown don't excite me much. Hopefully I will be proven wrong and I can rip out the rest of my hair determining what exactly I want to get. Otherwise, I like the post - especially having all the information in one nice laid out posting, so great job there!

It doesn't obliterate the Titan in any scenario so I don't see how it's a "Titan killer" it's as fast so it's a competitor. If it was 20% faster then sure but it isn't.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 Ti EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW!

THIS TOPIC WILL END ALL OTHER TOPICS ABOUT THE GTX 780 Ti

NVIDIA-GeForce-GTX-780-Picture-2-850x402

The card itself

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 Ti price and availability

NVIDIA already announced that their new flagship will cost $699, which is around 517.24, 728.29 Canadian dollars, and

435.03 pounds. Some retailers already have the cards, so make sure to check your favorite if he has any in stock.

EVGA GeForce GTX 780 Ti SuperClocked at 1046 MHz

The fact that there is a SuperClocked model most likely means that EVGA also has more GTX 780 Ti cards. There is a chance that manufacturer will launch an ACX model as well, especially after this post on Instagram.

The EVGA GeForce GTX 780 Ti SuperClocked runs at 980 MHz, which is a base clock, the boost clock is 1046 MHz. That means it’s 118 MHz faster than other GTX 780 Ti that we’ve seen already. Of course also this card will use 3GB GDDR5 memory. It’s worth noting that GTX 780 Ti will support QUAD-SLI configurations.

My take on it is that it beats the titan in every aspect (as far as I can see) and it's cheaper. Why would a normal person in the market for the GPU want a titan instead?

Hey everyone! The 780 Ti just adds to my confusion :(

I was planning to get the EVGA GTX 780 FTW ACX (Can't fit the Classified without removing the side Chassis fans) before the coming weekend. But should I wait & go for the base version of the EVGA 780 Ti (Hope there is an ACX Version soon... I don't want to miss out on the nVidia 3 Game bundle). I doubt I could afford the higher Ti variations. Are the extra 150$ worth it?

Usage:

I do heavy gaming and also work on Maya/Max/Photoshop... 3D modeling... rendering only when I need to make a show reel.

Gaming at 1080p for a couple years till I get a 1440p Monitor.

I would like the card to last me at least 3-4 years.

My Config:

CPU: i7 2600k

Motherboard: P8Z68-V-PRO/GEN3

RAM: 16GB Corsair Vengeance (4x4GB)

PSU: Corsair HX 1000

HDD: WD Blue (4x500 GB)

GPU: POV 8800GTX 768MB RAM (I know it's very ancient but surprisingly I can play at Medium-High Settings still... except Crysis 3)

Monitor: Dell 2209WA

Cabinet: Cooler Master 690

OS: Win 8.1 Pro
