Z270 work with I5-6600K?

My motherboard I think crapped out. I was going to get a new one for my 6600K, but does Z270 work with the Skylake processors?

If i am right (not 100% sure) the z270 boards will have some fetures that will only work with kaby lake.

You are correct.. If people wanna take advantage of the "Intel Optane Technology" then you need a z270.

Explains the Optane Technology there :D

and for those who wish to look

The differences between the 270 and 170 here.

Really.. I'd save the money and get a 170 board.. don't think the performance gains are worth the extra costs especially if you already have the 170.
