Really quick question about fan splitters

it will go 12 + 12 volt

The question that I have is that if a fan splitter such as this would also split the voltage in half so for example if I am using it plugged into a fan controller at 12V that it would be splitting it into 6V and 6V or if it goes to 12V and 12V.

The Volts stay the same. (12V for both)

The Amps are halved. (if it were 12A for example, it would be 6A each)

Im pretty sure it goes 12v 12v

Ultimately no.

I think it affects how quickly the fan spins up. But the final speed is the same. 

I could be completely wrong on that, but I am fairly certain the Amps being halved is true.
