It depends on the manufacturer. I remember seeing a pic yesterday that labeled them all based on who made them. Because i know apple decided to be apple and change it. Posted January 27, 2017 Author Searchin the web I found this: "Tip - left audio Ring 1 (closest to tip) - right audio Ring 2 - ground Sleeve – microphone" So does it means that the closest to the connector is the left audio, the middle is is right audio, the furthest is the ground and the outside thing is mic?
