yea, specs are always handy, as the PC might bottle neck everything that you put in it, due to it being old, or it might not have an upgrade path, or it could be OP as fuck with a slow HDD and you just need to get an SSD to make it go faster

SSD. Singlehandedly the best thing to speed up any PC, old or new. I suggest PNY's CS1311 and ADATA's SP550.

Adata is pretty good if your on budget sometimes you can find EVOs on eBay for cheap too

Maybe check Shopping Express, they have deals on decent Toshiba drives occasionally
