Can't decide on case color

Hi,

 

So I have been waiting to get a new case now since last year and I have now decided I want to get the S340 Elite but I can't decide between the white or the black verison I take it they both have the same matte paint finish?

I was thinking black because it will be easier to hide cables as sata cables will be easily noticeable in a white case but the white version seems to make internals look more visible maybe because the light bounces off the white sides inside more? if that makes sense. Which would you guys go for personally?

I really like white cases. What internals do you have?

I'm somewhat biased towards white stuff because it picks up almost any color that's shone onto it.

You can also get vinyl wrap and make it ANY COLOR YOU WANT

I have all the Asus strix rgb aura stuff lol x99 motherboard with a gtx 1080 strix then I have a 2tb samsung 850 evo and a 500gb 850 evo g-skill trident z rgb and a kraken x62 cooler so I can pretty much choose any color I want on the parts

I had to go black in the end the shop I wanted to get it from didn't have the white version but I have a cool mod I want to do to the front so I think it will look cool I want to carbon wrap the front in a gun metal carbon wrap and then put an ROG logo on the front to match all my other parts

I'd say get the black one then pick up some led strips RGB if you want or just normal

I don't have a personal preference but I would say get any with a controller unless the case has an integrated button for colour change in which go find strips that support that case

apparently I can use any 2m rgb strip and plug it into my motherboard and use aura to control the colors but not sure exactly how it works

Yeah that sounds good. To be safe I would search for aura supported LEDs and the plugging in to the mobo should be quite easy just find the right port

yeah I think cable mod or bitfenix do some aura supported strips

Yeah I have a Phantex Enthoo Evolv ATX case with phanteks LEDs and they work great. If they work with aura then do that

yeah I was just looking at them they come with some black cables do you use those cables to run one strip along the bottom and one along the top and then use the cable to connect them together?

Yeah I also I have to connect more because I have glass on both sides of my case

ah right yeah I've seen that I looked at the Phanteks Enthoo luxe I think it was with tempered glass

Anyway the LEDs are very good and vibrant in my eyes. Worth picking up
