Formatting used hard drive

I'm moving my hard drive from one pc to another however I don't know how to format it can someone help?

Right click the drive as it appears in This PC and press 'Format...'. The dialog that pops up should guide you through the rest of it.

Easiest way My Computer (This PC) > right click the drive > format > choose if you want a quick format or full format > start the format.
