$500 desktop runs Skyrim at 4k max settings with mods (first video) #1

Yeah, I jsut specced ot a console killer out of curiosity.

 

1050ti+ Pentium g4560 is one hell of a combo.

My computer can do this too, and with a few mods installed as well. with Stakado Cinemascope ENB, a few patches, Interesting NPCs, Inconsequential NPCs, and a few weapon mods here and there, I never went below 4k60FPS. But when I went back to my old mod list (120+) and old ENB (customized NLVA), 1080p 45FPS was my average.

 

I think mine might have been less than $500 when I built it.

If you're willing to play at the lowest settings, even a RX460/1050 will be able to run games at 4K...

I think it's nice to remember older games still get a noticeable bump by doing 4k and won't require a Titan xp to run nicely.
