BF1 CPU

Was wondering which CPU I should get for BF1, i am deciding between i5 7600k or the i7 7700k with a gtx 1070

Either will be fine for BF1, i7s aren't the best value for gaming.

you can get either one, but maybe you might want to get the skylake counterpart and overclock it to save on the cost.

if i get the i5 i can get an SSD while the i7 i wont. Here in canada, the i5 cost 315$ while the i7 cost 445$

A lesson I learned in the past is always get the cpu you want as all other parts can be easily added/ upgraded later on.

I think I'll go with the i5 and spend the extra 130$ on something else. I only game and do assignments because im in uni and i figured the i7 would be overkill for those kind of task.

If it is for gaming, then why not. FPS barly use the CPU any way. I have a hard time using more than 5% of my 10 core E5

That's because your CPU usage is the average of all logical cores. If one is working at 100% and the other 9 at 10%, the CPU usage will be ~20%.

That's because its a Zeon... I would take a i5 7600K any day over a i3, just admit getting a i3 over a i5 is dumb.

im fine thx, i dont want hear people say "my build is better yours, you should copy mine" and stuff. I will pick what performs good and if it fits my build color theme.

No, for gaming it is fine. It is better to by a new PC if you start to do anything that is CPU heavy and that i3 should work just fine for FPS until the rest of the system is outdated.
