I'm not even shure if i whuld recomend a better CPU even if it was Total War that was the main target. As long as the lode on the CPU isn't 100% it is ok if it don't cause micro lag.

The recent patch made it a bit easier on the cpu. Still wouldn't run an I5 myself.

The price for the i3 7350K is way too much considering it's still essentially is a dual-core. Any entry-level i5 will outclass it.

 

@GamesOfThrones, of course the i7 7700K is going to perform considerably better but the i5 7600K will still be a 'good' choice.
