ram compatability question

so i just recently was able to pick up a http://www.supermicro.com/products/motherboard/QPI/5500/X8DTL-i.cfm

and some cheep hex cores.

the only thing i need is some ram but i the approved modules are so expensive. i was hoping that you guys could tell me if there were any glaring reasons why these ram sticks wouldnt work.
