Good Blu-ray player with optical audio port?

Hey guys,

 

I´m searching for a Blu-ray player with a optical audio port. It doesn´t need all the smart features since my TV already has those things.

Budget is up to 100€.

 

I found the LG BP420 for 70€. Should I get that one?

I don't see any real alternative, since most of the other Bluray Players in this price range do not offer an optical audio port.Most of them feature a coax digital audio port. It's a rather old device from 2012, but I don't think this will be a problem at all.

Yep, but I don´t see why I should spend much more. 150€ would be all right as well...

I don't see this issue.  I literally just hopped to BestBuy.ca and had no problems finding BluRay players in all price ranges, even UHD players, with optical out.  That said, I'm not about to list model numbers because different models may be available in the EU, but this should be an easy search.

In Canada yes, here in Germany it´s wierd. I can´t seem to find any reasonably priced ones optical out which aren´t from like 2012 or so... Very strange though...
