Best receiver for a 2.1 Hi-Fi setup

Mouse-Potato

Hi all, I wanted advice on a receiver for a pair of Q Acoustics 3050 tower speakers: http://www.son-video.com/Rayons/Enceintes-colonne/Q-Acoustics-Q3050.html.

I am looking for enough wattage to run them and also have a bluetooth connection and/or wifi for audio streaming from a mobile device or computer.

I found these:

I am kind of new to this but I want something that gives good audio output for FLAC files and such.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!!

Cheers

PS: I live in France

You said 2.1 setup, are you going to use a powered subwoofer? If so, you'll need a sub pre-out. If not, your system is 2.0, or just standard stereo, like my setup is (just a pair of TSi 100 and a old Denon AVR-1602).

Take a look at the Yamaha A-S501 and the Harman Kardon HK 3770, i think those would work very well for your setup.

The Denon you posted is not a bad option as well, but it's a surround receiver instead of just stereo, so it's a bit overkill, but if you ever wanted to expand your setup, you could just add speakers to it.

Project Diesel 5.0: Motherboard: ASRock Fatal1ty X370 Professional Gaming /// CPU: Ryzen 5 3600X  /// CPU Cooler: Scythe Ninja 5 /// GPU: Zotac AMP Extreme RTX 2070 /// RAM: 2x 16gb G.Skill Ripjaws V @3200mhz /// Chassis: Lian Li Lancool One Digital (black) /// PSU: Super Flower Leadex III 750w /// Storage: Inland Premium 1TB NVME + Toshiba X300 4TB

Thanks for your reply!

For now I will be using only the 2 3050's and no sub. I picked out the Denon to have a little more flexibility down the road but also due to the fact that it has a 130 watt output. I heard that it's better to have an overpowered receiver rather than an underpowered receiver compared to the speakers because apparently it might stress the receiver. But have no idea if that's true..

The yamaha seems decent for the price but the HK is a little pricey.

I was also lookg for one that I can hook up via bluetooth or over wi-fi but maybe I'm asking for too much. I just find that option more practical.
