1: something early GTX i think

2: sortof, depends on how you want to use it and if your motherboard has another PCI-E 16x slot. 

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

look at the serial tag. It should it tell you.

huh bit older then i thought but fair enough, i guess most early GTX cards looked like a box for the mostpart lol
