Exactly like custom watercooling systems but they come pre-built and usually consist of much lower quality components.

It's just a posh name for AIOs. The one's on Origin PC sound like the grabed some cheap components and put fancy names on them.

Feel free to PM for any water-cooling questions. Check out my profile for more ways to contact me.

its just a sealed loop as it says, with the pump on the cpu block, usually much much cheaper then any other water cooling solution

What I would love to know... with custom loops you need to top-up coolant and its advised you change the full loops coolant yearly as the liquid breaks down over time and looses it effectiveness.....

then how do closed looped systems performance 2-3 years after being bought:? I assume the coolant must also break down... so do they become junk quickly?

Well to answer your question directly, it's a system that consists of a pump, tubing, and a radiator all connected and unable to be removed. It's a useful tool for people who are terrified to make their own loop (me). They are maintenance free and cool very well :)

I assumed so. I'm confident enough to do my own however to ignorant at this point. Can anyone recommend one of Linus's videos that provides the best information on building your own liquid cooled rig for those like me willing to go DIY?

I didn't anticipate this much of a response from everyone. Really starting to love these forums. Thanks, keep it up! :D

P.S

Would it be a better performance and financial decision to go with say Overclockers UK and buy a rig from them? They have a custom configurator just like Origin.

They are sealed so no dust or particiles can get inside. They also have "special" coolant.

They last around as long as the warranty.

Don't even know originPC was a real thing. I just hope this isn't going to be an other overpriced alienware kind of hype.

You're probably spot on. This is why I've raised the subject. What are your opinions on Overclockers UK and their builds? They also have a custom configurator like Origin.
