Lenovo Y50 Screen Replacement

Hey guys!

So my brother's Y50 screen broke and we bought a replacement screen on Amazon.  It came and I replaced it, but the screen, on top of having an annoying dead pixel, has terrible contrast, colors, and viewing angles.

Where would I even go about looking for a good one?  I have no way to tell via model numbers what panels are good or not.  Any help towards finding a good or exact replacement would be very appreciated!
