What's the domain on your Google account? Is it just a Gmail account?

It's not about Google accounts. It's the user account on the PC that's controlled by your school admins. There's nothing you can do about it, except bringing your own laptop. Which will be promptly rejected by the school IT-guys as they can't control it :old-eyeroll:  Hence you won't get access to school resources. Welcome to the real world 😠

well my google account doesn't...  but i think that's besides your problem,  just saying...

i would recommend to uninstall your current av and install malwarebytes instead and do a FULL scan of all your hard drives including rootkit scan.

same as above,  fine, but your google account doesn't necessarily have to use gmail. thank goodness!

Ironically its probably AVG web shield if you disable it it may go away, google will trigger that if essentially any program is messing with the browser they need to rephrase it
