Best desktop speakers for your money?

Sir_TechMonkey

Hello, I'm not really a person who knows a lot about audio so I feel I should ask the pros and enthusiast. I want to upgrade my audio game, so I'm going upgrade my speakers first, I have a budget of £70-120. (preferably on the lower on the price scale)

I have the following requirements:

  • Small width
  • Nice design
  • good for movie watching
  • good for classical, rock,  hard rock and vocals

CPU: Intel Core i7-6700k @4.6  COOLER: Dark Rock 3 | MOBO: MSI Sli Plus Z170 | GPU: GTX 970 Ftw  | RAM: Crucial ballistix @2400MHz (16gb) (8GB) | SSD: ADATA SP550 (240GB) HDD: Seagate 1tb & 2tb  | PSU: Corsiar 600W | Case: Anidees crystal cuvbe lite Display 1x: Asus VG248QEKeyboard: Coolermaster Tk | Mouse: Logitech G502 | Sound: Blue Yeti Blackout,beyerdynamic dt 770 pro & Logitech z200

What do you mean by small length? Is that width, depth, height, or all three? Honestly, if you want a decent low end, there's no replacement for displacement (or a good sub, but those are big and expensive.)

Hey! New SIgnature!

I'm supposedly a person on the Internet, but you'll never know if I'm human or not ;)

Will they be going on a desk?

Or could you put them up next to your desk?

It's above your budget I know, but sometimes you can find them refurbished in the H/K outlet ( and they're as new, my friend bought a refurb pair for 80 euros from hk outlet and they were literally untouched) for a lower price. they're not too wide, there's a subwoofer though.
