yes i guess in canada you wont find a better deal, if you can look at old intel i7 920 that can help

also he might need a new psu too and some gpu (dual slot ones) won't fit on sff cases

yea i was suggesting as a temp setup vary old stuff usually have lots of problems i am hoping it will get him started.
