RX 480 or GTX 1060 for 2560x1080?

Buildzoid who has the highest know RX 480 overclock on air ran at 1.52. I could hit that but Im not in the mood for voltmod. And it scales more on temperature, not voltage. I can hit 1420 on +20mv but cant go past 1.5 on +100

Thanks for keeping it real. I plan on getting an RX 470 or 480 soon and looking at how high I can go.

What card? Only the XFX GTR and Sapphire Nitro can hit those clocks from my research. And I have an insane card, its highly unlikely you'll get those clocks

I wanted to get the Gaming X because it doesn't cost a fortune, the GTR does

 

How good is the nitro? Its cooler isn't as good as the MSI I don't think. But I'm open to buy it, it costs about the same, maybe $3-4 cheaper

The cooler isnt as good (still great) but Ive never seen an MSi that can OC high and Ive seen 4 Nitros that can

That should all be silicon lottery though? Maybe it's just that not enough people have gotten it.

On Newegg a few days ago there was an MSI Armor 4gb RX 480 and I picked one of those up fro $190 with a $20 rebate. What's your opinion on that one?
