Favorite Power Supply

I need a minimum of 550W. I was thinking about using the Corsair AX760(i) or AX860(i).

Does anyone have other power supplies that they really like? This computer is on nearly all the time under near half to full load all the time.

Brands in mind: Corsair, EVGA, Be Quiet!, Cooler Master, Seasonic, FSP

Evga G3 or g2 should be great for always-on.

Don't spend a fortune on a PSU

 

If I had a limitless PSU budget I would get a RM750i. It's amazing performance, Corsair Link for monitoring and changing from single rail to multe rail, and FDB fan.

 

Or a Seasonic Prime for the absolute best performance and 80+ Titanium.

Whichever is approved on the Tier List and Whitelist.

 

For me it's the EVGA P2.

 

If your PC is going to be on at all times, I'd start looking at redundant PSU's and rackmount.

The Seasonic Snow Silent is white and very, very quiet. I also really love the Corsair RMi due to how quiet it is, how non-flashy it is, I'm apparently one of two people in the whole word that like the flat ribbon 24-pin (the other is some engineer at CWT/Corsair), and it's got a long warranty and performs very well. There's just not much I can fault it for.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.
