Need some help with my old bessy

First of, sorry for any spelling mistakes english is not my main language.
 

I have no clue where to start upgrading my PC, ill list the parts below.

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-F2A78M-DS2

CPU: AMD Richland A6 6400K (2X 3900 mhZ) Dual Core - Got a stock cooler on this.

RAM: Corsair Vengeance 8GB 1600MHz 2x4gb

SSD: 120GB Crucial

HDD: some random 500GB cheap harddisk

GPU: AMD Radeon R7 240 (2048 MB DDR3 - DX 11)

PSU: Corsair VS Series VS650

Case: Sharkoon BD28 Green edition

 

Please if you have any tips on what to upgrade first.

I got around 300euro (350dollar) to spend on it.

Look for any used GPU such as a GTX 670 or HD 7970 and you should be good as far as spending your budget. You can sell old things to regain some of your money back.

The reason I chose an Intel platform is that it will be actively supported for at least a year more.

 

Or, you could wait for Zen and see if anything there fits your budget and niche.

What to upgrade first might depend a bit upon what apps and games you run. But, if you upgrade the CPU first, the R7 240 can still be used at low graphics settings.

 

Unless you are in a hurry to upgrade, I'd suggest you wait for Kaby Lake and/or Ryzen to be released.

 

For a KL (or Skylake) or Ryzen upgrade you will need a CPU, motherboard and DDR4 RAM.
