5G network not showing up

Hi all, ive been experiencing problems with my router. after setting it up, my family is able to connect to the 5g network while i cant. the router is the asus rt-ac68u with the firmware 3.0.0.4.380_4164  and im using the samsung galazy a5 2016. the 5g network does not show up on my phone but i am able to see and connect to the 2.4 network. any help? Thanks in advance.

The phone probably doesn't have a 5ghz attena and wifi

it says it has dualband wifi so does that mean it has 5GHz?

i used to be able to connect until i changed the ssid name and password after my provider did the initial setup.

ok somehow it showed up after waiting for it in the wifi settings for 5 mins. thanks anyways guys
