Just got a EVGA Z170 FTW and I now have 7 4 pin fan headers. Im tired of my somewhat loud system, and would like to slow my fans down. Anyone know really quiet 4 pin pwm fans that arent to expensive? I have 2 NF-F12's currently. Don't mind using reducers. I need some for the front of my H440 (So 3 120's or 2 140's) and one for the back (140)

For black fans some good units would be the fractal design venturi's or scythe gentle typhoons.

I have three Venturi HP-12 PWM fans. They have 'dick dick dick" motor noise under 1000rpm. While the HF-12 is good no problem. Don't know if I get some faulty ones.

Meanwhile, Gentle Typhoon is THE fan to have for radiator. Noticeably better than Noctua NF-F12. Have four of them in my main rig.

Not sure might be faulty are you running the fans via PWM control, I had a bunch that a buddy got and installed them for him and they were close to dead silent under about 700-800 RPM.

What are your specs and which fans are too loud? What speed are you running your fans at? Have you tried lowering them?

I have a Corsair C70 case and I need 2 airflow and 2 static pressure fans 120mm, thinking of getting these hybrid fans for both air movement types. I was wondering if there was a cheaper or better option than this. Thanks.

I would try posting this as a new topic instead of on this one. Also from what I hear Noctua NF-F12's are more static pressure but get the job done for both. They are bust very expensive

Are you referring to the stock case fans? What headers are the fans plugged into?

My motherboard headers

Which headers? They should be labelled. Have you adjusted their speeds in the bios?

No because I don't think EVGA has a option for that. I also havent checked tho

They are labelled on the motherboard.

Try to enter the motherboard settings during startup.
