1080p vs 1440p, is it worth the upgrade?

i couldnt find any 1440p ultrawides for that price. if it is good and is what it advertises,  then is it a good upgrade? and will i need to upgrade my gpu?

Obviously. It's up to you to judge whether it's good or not, I wouldn't even think about purchasing it. I dunno, maybe?

No. It's taller than It is wider. It only helps if you use Photoshop or the like.

Not much of a difference since you're going from a 1080 to another 1080 in the same ratio. If you want to get it for a dual monitor setup, it'd be good. Otherwise, just stick with what you have.
