Budged gaming pc

Im looking to get a gaming pc for £600-£700, theres one problem though. I can't custom build a pc so I would need a pre-built gaming pc with win10. Thanks

Whats stopping you from building it yourself? its very easy to do.

Pre-builts at that price range won't be as good as if you were to build one yourself for the same budget.

It really isn't so hard to build, don't let the "My PC would POST" threads scare you. Like the others stated, watch tutorials of Linus building.

Anyone can build a PC. The real question is whether or not you need a monitor, keyboard, and mouse.

1. This is a really bad mobo and it's basically here just to turn your pc on. I mean come one, why not spend these 20 bucks more and get a better motherboard? Plus, we don't know if the OP is using a micro atx case.

2. Really? No SSD or even a hybrid? Avoid.

3. Most cheaped out case on earth. These are no good for cable managements and are overall pretty bad.

4. NEVER.. CHEAP.. OUT.. ON.. PSU..

5. Yea, the last thing he wants is getting his "key" deactivated after a few months by Microsoft

  • That motherboard isn't great, but it isn't a terrible choice either. MSI has always manufactured reliable motherboards- a few of them legendarily so, like the H81M-P33.
  • SSDs are only getting cheaper, and its omission allowed me to fit in better components for performance.
  • That is a Tier 2 power supply. Just because it's cheap doesn't mean it's terrible. Get your knowledge together. Super Flower is one of the most reliable power supply brands in the business, and is SeaSonic's equivalent in the UK.
  • There are hundreds of people here who use G2A keys. Paul from Paul's Hardware recommends them, I use them, and you need only start a thread to find out if anyone who bought a Kinguin key has had it deactivated.
  • Sure, the case is cheap as hell, but it isn't terrible by any stretch of the imagination. Here are a few reviews. However, I will see if there are better cases around this price point, as OP is going to be a first-time builder and is probably going to find it unpleasant to have to manipulate his PSU cables to fit the smaller space behind the motherboard tray.

Your critique is full of junk.

Hey calm down, I just hate when somebody is trying to cut corners everywhere and insult people after that. Pretty normal, uh? You are exactly doing the wrong things, cheaping out out the most important features.

I didn't insult you. The only argument I made that could be seen as ad hominem was 'Get your stuff together', which is entirely explainable, seeing as you told me not to cheap out on a power supply when I chose a Tier 2 PSU. I edited it to 'knowledge', but I'll stand behind the remark. You were pretty abrasive about my choice despite it being a good one.

When I said your critique was junk, I meant it, and that doesn't qualify as an insult or even an ad hominem argument. It means your critique was poor, and it is.

The most important features of a build are things that increase performance and reliability. I managed to fit an RX 480 in one build and a GTX 1070 in another. I also did not cheap out on the power supply. That is a Tier 2 power supply. Get. Your. Stuff. Together.

I don't think an SSD is worth sacrificing computer performance for, and they're only getting cheaper, which makes buying one in the future much better value.

The case isn't as bad as you say it is. Watch the reviews.

You're only attempting to slander my configuration. I've already proven your critiques invalid. You're barking up the wrong tree- or maybe you just have a bone to pick with me. Either way, I'm done.

an SSD is not important waiting a few seconds more for a game to load or a few mins to install is not worth lowering the cpu or gpu.

It's a Tier 2 power supply. Super Flower is among the most reliable brands in the business. In fact, they're second only to SeaSonic as far as I know. That Golden Green HX power supply is actually an extremely solid unit- along with the rest of the Golden Green series.

I wholeheartedly agree, and SSDs are only getting cheaper. Upgrading to one next year will yield vastly superior value. Furthermore, Windows 8.1 boots up in 15 seconds on my WD Caviar Blue 1TB (the same drive as the one in both my builds), and that's with only 42% free space.

Nope, a hybrid is a waste of money and a SSD isn't the end of the world.

A case is only there to hold the parts plus that case is perfectly fine so I don't see any issues with it.

I wholeheartedly agree. That power supply isn't just higher quality than mainstream budget power supplies; the Super Flower Golden Green series is a Tier 2 power supply. That puts it on par with everything else in Tier 2, all of which are excellent units. We're talking about the Cooler Master VSM series, Corsair RM series, and Seasonic S12G series.

Quote

Tier 2

  • Antec - EDGE, TruePower Classic
  • Azza - Platinum
  • Cooler Master - VSM-series (semi-modular), Masterwatt Maker (it's way too expensive at 450 USD but it's worthy of being tier 2)
  • Corsair - Most RM variants, HX
  • Enermax - Digifanless, RG, GX
  • EVGA - GQ, B2, 550W and 650W GS
  • Fractal Design - Edison M, Tesla R2 650W/1000W, Tesla R3
  • FSP - Hydro G
  • Gigabyte - XP1200M
  • Rosewill - Quark, Fortress, Capstone
  • Seasonic - S12G, G-series/SSRM
  • Sentey - Solid Power SS
  • Silverstone - SX-700 SFX
  • Super Flower - Golden Green
  • Thermaltake - Toughpower Grand, Toughpower Grand Platinum, Toughpower DPS Platinum, EVO 2.0
  • XFX -  Pro XXX, XTR, TS Gold

Also, that's not a bad case. Check out the reviews I posted. It even looks handsome.
