I've read that the 4790k is as fast or even faster than the 6700k( wich I have in my personal rig) true or myth?

The i7-4790K is slightly faster in some single-threaded scenarios, but they seem to trade blows until the 6700K pulls ahead in most multi-threaded applications. Knowing this, it shouldn't deter you from buying the newer CPU for the architectural changes that they contain.

You mean 4770k?

That was a "half" gen, imo, just like the 5770C.

Not the real deal :P

No, i mean the 5770C. The 5xxx processors are like a skipped generation, except they exist. But ppl seen to think its like 4790k-6700k, Just how it was with the GPUs 780ti-980ti. But unlike an 880ti, the 5770C does exist

Ultra is stupid. ALWAYS.
