256 color case fan?

so im on the hunt for a color changing 140 mm case fan that isn't noisy. is that too much to ask for? i would prefer if i could switch between all 256 colors, but really I just want to be able to change the color of my computer every so often if i want to. it seems to me that if i wanted a rainbow fan that's quiet i should be able to get it.surely i cant be the only person to want a multicolored case. i know nzxt has the hue, but i hear the LEDs don't stick to well and i kind of want a fan not an LED strip. does anyone know of one?

Ask for all 256 is a lot, not to mention you wont be able to tell between like 230 of them.

You're going to have to suck it up with some black or white fans and a huehuehue strip. What do you mean they don't stick well? just use some mounting tape and those things aren't going anywhere

A color changing fan probably doesn't exist, if it does I'm pretty much positive it's going to be so garbage it's not even worth it.

TBH, LED fans are like a laser pointer. At first they are neat, but then it becomes 'meh'. Get /quality/ fans before worrying about colors.

I have a HUE and the only reason I had to use super glue is because it was the 3rd re-use. When applying it the first and secoond times it stuck perfectly well. Like helping said, just get a decent fan and a huehuehue.

i have a Fractal R4, and im just worried that the knobs on the hue will block the door from closing behind the door. does anybody have an R4 and a HUE?

Yes, the knobs allow the door to close with plenty of room; altough they do leave a tiny concave indentation in the foam, but they can be smoothed out easily and they go away after leaving the door open for little while or removing the unit.
