Asus Strix 1080 Question

So i have the Asus ROG Strix GTX 1070 and it has 2 DP outputs and 2 HDMI instead of the traditional 3 DP and 1 HDMI. If I want to connect 3 monitors, will one have to be HDMI instead, while the other 2 are DP?

okay, thx, I just wanted all 3 monitors to be DPxD

be aware that using hdmi will limit you to 60 hz on the display that is using it, your dp connected displays will not be limited by this however.
