Wont give any issues. Why are you getting an adapter though? The GTX 1080 has both DVI and HDMI

A GTX 1080 has 1 DVI-D (not DVI-I), 1 or 2 HDMI ports and 2 or 3 displayport outputs. Depends on what version you're getting of course.

A HDMI to DVI adapter is pretty decent (as in, nothing wrong with it), but also not necessary.

It has only VGA/D-Sub (http://www.benq.com/product/monitor/GL2450/specifications/) so you need to get a displayport to VGA adapter (the DVI is not one that can be converted to VGA with some cheap adapter).
