Please just don't, it only allows 2gb ram in the mobo, I'd just save for a new PC.

You can put in a graphics card, I'd recommend the gtx 1050 or 1050ti, but I would not suggest using the computer for any modern programs due to its age. Forget about playing games - even light modern titles require 4gb RAM, the mobo max is 2, and I think you have 512mb installed.

 

You might be able to install more RAM or storage, but I would recommend saving the money.

I'd say you could probably salvage the hard drive and DVD drive if they are SATA.

You don't have to throw it away, sell it. Or donate it. But it's not worth upgrading.

No point in keeping that thing.  Take out the DVD drive and hard drive and throw the rest away.

@echy can you verify if the list is correct for that old computer?

 

I would save the drive, the HDD (though it is only 120GB and would be waste to use it for a SATA port if it has)

DDR 1 ram is way too old to reuse and 2GB is not that much in modern days
