Best 4K tv under $600

Coldris

Hey guys,

I'm moving house and need a TV, I have $600 to go and buy one. I'm not after a smart TV, the only requirement is that it's 4k, and has decent picture quality.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Coldris

they exist. but they're usually meh to decent panels. but that might just be passable for a lot of people, especially for 4k. i'd just be sure that you can return it or buy a warranty

I got a 4K 60 inch HDR TV for around ~1100USD, i'd see some 4K TVs go on sale to low as 300...

This is a good buy at that price range in my opinion:

UN50KU6300

Contrast and image quality of the Samsung KU6300 can rough it up with midrange models while having an entry level price. If you want a larger size, then the LG UH6090 will get you a 55" screen at the same price point if you're okay with less contrast and uniformity (plus RGBW subpixel panel).

Speaking from personal experience working around these products every day, I would suggest looking at a Hisense like the H8C. They tend to come in well under your budget, even in a 55". I would say not to put a Samsung in the 6000 or 7000 series on the top your list, because you just don't get as many features for better viewing quality in those. If for some reason you can find it on a sale in your price range or near to it, my recommendation would be an LG 7700, as it tends to be the happy medium between brand, build quality, picture quality, features, and cost. However, the LG is normally anywhere from about $800-$1,000 US for a 50".

  • 2 weeks later...

Sorry for steeling this topic but I am also looking for a 4k TV at that price range. I've narrowed it down to these models:

  • SAMSUNG UE50KU6072
  • SAMSUNG UE49KU6402
  • LG 49UH664V
  • LG 49UH6507
  • LG 49UH603V
  • LG 49UF6857

They are all similar in price in the store in which i am looking to buy (http://www.ronis.hr/)

I'm more lenient towards LG 49UH6507.

One of the requirements is support for RS-232C protocol. LG has support over USB, but for SAMSUNG i couldn't find whether it does of does not have support over USB.

Opinions? Better tv in mind for that price?

Thank you in advance!

I prefer the webOS pointer navigation on LG TV's over the samsung os. If you mainly use some external player, playstation, amazon stick or so go for samsung.

Image should be not that far away from eachother on these models.
